NEW YORK CITY

Day 1

The plane ride wasn’t nearly as bad as I had expected. To say I was nervous doesn’t even begin to describe it. Allisia had to hold my hand while we were taking off, and I was screaming and going into a semi-fetal position since I was terrified. I didn’t like my stomach flipping, that part was too similar to a roller coaster. Once we were up, I was fine. As a matter of a fact, I loved it. I was lucky enough to have a window seat, and the view was phenomenal. I’ve never seen anything like it, it was incredible.

Once we landed(which wasn’t nearly as bad as the take off), I couldn’t believe it. I had looked at countless photos of times square and all the iconic buildings New York is filled with, and finally I was there seeing and experiencing it first hand. Looking at New York through the window of the plane was just beautiful. It really is the greatest city in the world. Immediately after getting our luggage, we saw hundreds of taxis. Every direction you looked, there was at least 1 taxi.

We boarded the “Golden Touch Transportation” bus to go to the hotel…
